From the President's Desk:

"Mahatma Jyotiroa Phule was a renowned social worker, who inspired us. It was during my childhood in schools, that I read about Mahatma Phule and his noble work. Amidst so much social pressure, he was the first person to open his well for drinking water to all the backward class people.

I thought that this person is the greatest person amongst all the social reformers of India, because he started social reforming from his own house, he also taught his wife first and then started spreading the importance of women education.

This work of Mahatma Phule inspired me all through my life and when I started working as a social worker, and started this NGO, we thought our institute should work under Mahatma Phule’s inspiration, hence we gave the name of Mahatma Phule to our institute."
